I’m Armen Greyg, an actor and producer whose journey started in a small Armenian village and grew into international cinema. Working across different countries shaped me both as an artist and as a person. Dubai became the natural next chapter for me – a global city full of energy, opportunity, and creativity, where I continue my work in film while building new ventures and connections
As an artist and producer, what attracted you to Dubai as a place to live, create, and invest?
Dubai attracted me because it’s a place where creativity, ambition, and opportunity meet. As an artist, I’m inspired by its international energy and fast-growing film and media scene. As a producer and investor, I see a city built for the future — open to ideas, supportive of business, and full of global connections. It’s a place where I can live, create, and build projects with real scale.
How does your experience in storytelling and understanding audiences influence your approach to lifestyle and real estate investments?
My background in storytelling helps me see real estate beyond square meters and numbers. I naturally think in terms of people, emotions, and daily experiences. Every property tells a story – who will live there, how they will feel in the space, what kind of lifestyle it creates.
Understanding audiences in cinema trained me to understand buyers and investors the same way: what they truly want, what inspires them, and what gives them a sense of value and belonging. So when I look at lifestyle and real estate investments, I don’t just see buildings – I see environments, narratives, and long-term experiences that people are willing to invest in.
What does “luxury living” truly mean to you in the context of Dubai’s real estate market?
To me, “luxury living” in Dubai is not only about high prices, famous brands, or impressive views. It’s about comfort, privacy, smart design, and a lifestyle that makes everyday life feel effortless. True luxury is time saved, services that anticipate your needs, beautiful surroundings, and a community that matches your standards. In Dubai’s real estate market, luxury means living in a place where quality, innovation, and experience come together to create a higher way of life.
How do you evaluate real estate opportunities differently as a creative professional compared to traditional investors?
As a creative professional, I evaluate real estate with both logic and imagination. Traditional investors often focus mainly on numbers, location, and ROI. I look at those too – but I also ask: What story does this place tell? Who will be drawn to live here? What lifestyle does it create? I pay attention to atmosphere, design, surroundings, and the emotional appeal of the space. If a property can make someone instantly feel a connection, it has strong value. This perspective helps me see opportunities not only as assets, but as experiences people want to be part of — which, in the end, also strengthens the investment potential.
What initially motivated you to become actively involved in real estate investment and advisory in the UAE?
I was motivated by seeing how closely real estate in the UAE connects lifestyle, vision, and opportunity. Living in Dubai, I witnessed a city constantly building for the future, and I realized this wasn’t only a place to create films, but also a place to build long-term value. And one of the first reasons is that a few years ago, my partner started a very important love project, but we didn’t find the funding, so this also pushed me to get into real estate, as a way to make more money, and to make my own movie and not waste time looking for it.
